Biography

Dr. Arnaud Broussolle has completed his PhD from the university of Hong Kong where he performed research on Geochronology, structural Geology, Metamorphic petrology and Geochemistry. He did his fieldwork in the Chinese and Mongolian side of the Altai Orogenic Belt working on the tectonic evolution of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt. He published research on the accretionary-collisional evolution of the Altai. He then moved to Guangzhou for his postdoctoral work broadening his research topics on the evolution of the supercontinent cycle and the exploration of the full plate model of Earth. During his postdoctoral work, he targeted his focus on Hafnium isotopes with an aim to recover global scale tectonic processes. His main achievement is the calculation of the acceleration of the supercontinent cycle.
